Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American women, and our Black and Latinx neighbors are at greatest risk for death.
With your support, we can help more women in Dallas County become breast cancer survivors.
Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed and/or treated cancer at Parkland. Our breast cancer patients are younger than the national average and are diagnosed at later stages. And due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many women have put off screenings and other potentially life-saving medical appointments, which can increase risk.
The time is now to help us cancel out breast cancer.
Everyone deserves equitable access to the resources needed to prevent, detect, treat and thrive beyond a breast cancer diagnosis. You can help Parkland–the only public safety-net health system in Dallas County–provide access to resources regardless of ZIP code, race, ethnicity or income level.
